RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR FURNISHING AND INSTALLING
A NEW CHILLER AT THE WICHITA FALLS CITY/COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT TO JAMES LANE AIR CONDITIONING IN THE AMOUNT OF
$76,009.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for furnishing and
installing a chiller at the Wichita Falls City/County Health Department; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on December 5, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to install a new chiller at the Wichita Falls
City/County Health Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid to furnish and install a new chiller
at the Wichita Falls City/County Department to James Lane Air Conditioning in the amount of
$76, 009.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
