RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AMENDING A MANAGEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
EAGLE GOLF, INC. FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF WEEKS PARK GOLF
COURSE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, On March 6, 2007, the City Council passed Resolution #33-2007, approving
a Management Services Agreement with Eagle Golf, Inc. for the management of Weeks Park
Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, The start date specified in the Management Services Agreement is January
1, 2008; and
WHEREAS, As a result of delays in the renovation to Weeks Park Golf Course, the
course will not be ready for play on January 1, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Article 1, "Grant and Term," Paragraph C, "Initial Term" of the Management
Services Agreement should be amended to reflect a starting date of June 20, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Article 1, "Grant and Term," Paragraph C, "Initial Term" of the Management
Services Agreement passed by Resolution #33-2007 on March 6, 2007 is hereby amended to
reflect a start date of June 20, 2008.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
