Res 120-2017 9/5/2017 Resolution No. _120-2017_ Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Transportation Services Agreement with Rolling Plains Management Corporation of Baylor, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman & Wilbarger Counties for qualified individuals using Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 Funding administered by the Texas Department of Transportation WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the need for improved transportation options for seniors and individuals with disabilities; and , WHEREAS, funding for this service has been provided through the Federal Transit Administration under the Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Section 5310 program administered through the Texas Department of Transportation; and, WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to enter into a transportation services agreement to provide Section 5310 services; and , WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls issued a Request for Qualifications to solicit those qualified to provide Section 5310 services; and , WHEREAS, Rolling Plains Management Corporation is proposing to perform this work for the City of Wichita Falls. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The City Manager is authorized to execute a Transportation Services Agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, between the City of Wichita Falls and Rolling Plains Management Corporation of Baylor, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman & Wilbarger Counties, to provide Federal Transit Administra tion Section 5310 services administered by the Texas Department of Transportation .
