Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award contract for 2017
Lake Arrowhead Dam Repair to Earth Builders, L.P. in the amount of
$182,525.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls operates and maintains Lake Arrowhead as
a water source for the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, there is a need to make dam repairs to ensure protection of this
valuable water source; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Earth Builders, L.P.
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $182,525.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said
Contractor for the 2017 Lake Arrowhead Dam Repair in the amount of $182,525.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of September, 2017.
