Resolution No. _117-2017_
Resolution authorizing award of bid to CDW Government LLC in the
amount of $104,751 for the replacement of network switches located
in Memorial Auditorium and Municipal Court. This amount includes
necessary fiber modules and a year of SMARTnet maintenance
WHEREAS, current equipment is in excess of 10 years old and at the end of its
life cycle and support; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has selected CDW to provide 12 network
switches to replace existing switches at Memori al Auditorium and Municipal Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Award of bid to CDW Government LLC in the amount of $104,751 for the
replacement of network switches located in Memo rial Auditorium and Municipal Court is
hereby approved. This amount includes necessary fiber modules and a year of
SMARTnet maintenance.
