ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE FOR SPECIAL SERVICE
VEHICLE TO MIKE KEPHART AND HAROLD KEPHART DBA PRIME
TIME LIMO; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received an application from Mike Kephart and Harold
Kephart DBA Prime Time Limo for a special service franchise for limousine
transportation within the city limits of Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the application submitted meets the requirements as set forth in
Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances regulating Vehicles for Hire-Limousine Service;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to receive comments regarding the
granting of such franchise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A franchise for a special service for limousine transportation within
the city limits of Wichita Falls is hereby authorized to Mike Kephart and Harold Kephart
DBA Prime Time Limo as provided for in Chapter 110 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 2. A total of seven (7) limousine permits are authorized for said
franchise.
SECTION 3. This franchise shall expire on March 6, 2012.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
