ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE
SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR GRANT FUNDING RECEIVED FROM
THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT
OF $10,182. 00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has received
notice of the availability of Title V grant revenue from the Department of State Health
Services; and
WHEREAS, the Public Health District desires to receive these funds to continue
providing health care services to etigible clients; and
WHEREAS, the award of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the FY 2006-2007 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated into the Special Revenue Fund
$10,182 for the SDI Fee for Service grant and the City Manager is authorized to enter
into a contact with the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls-
Wichita County Public Health District accepting same.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
