Resolution authorizing City Manager to award bid and contract for
the 2017 CDBG Waterline Replacement Project to Bowles
Construction Co. in the amount of $147,320.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bi ds for the 2017 CDBG
Waterline Replacement Project (CWF17-240-08); and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Bowles Construction
Co, who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $147,320.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for The 2017 CDBG Waterline Replacement Project (CWF17-
240-08) is awarded to Bowles Construction Co., in an estimated total amount of
$147,320.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of August, 2017.
