Resolution authorizing award of bid for the City’s estimated annual
supply of aviation fuels to Epic Aviation, LLC at Kickapoo Downtown
Airport
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for its
estimated annual requirement of aviation fuels; and,
WHEREAS, proposals were received and publicly opened on February 3, 2017;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase aviation fuel for its Kickapoo
Downtown Airport customers; and,
WHEREAS, Epic Aviation LCC was the vendor determined by City staff to
provide the best value to the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid contract, in a form approved by the City
Attorney, for the purchase of the City’s estimated annual requirement of aviation fuels
to Epic Aviation, LLC for the period ending August 1, 2022.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of August, 2017.
