Resolution No. _100-2017_
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award contract for
Emergency Repairs to the 20” Water Main under US 287 to Insituform
Technologies, LLC in the amount of $189,037.50
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls operates and maintains the potable water
supply system for the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, there is a need to make emergency repairs to the water supply
distribution system; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the quickest and most economical
soluti on is to install a Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP); and,
WHEREAS, Insituform Technologies LLS is the sole provider of this repair
technology.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract f or the City with Insituform
Technologies, LLC for the emergency repairs to the 20” water main under US 287 in
the amount of $189,037.50.
