Resolution No. _91-2017_
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract
for the purchase of two Sabre Chlorine Dioxide Generators from D&F
Services, LLC, as a Sole Source, Best Value, in the amount of
$185,500
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to maintain its compliance with
disinfection requirements of the Federal drinking water quality standards; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase two replacement chlorine
dioxide generators for the Headquarters Road Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, purchase of similar type units installed elsewhere within the City’s
water system will create efficiency and reduce costs of the maintenance of the water
system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to the City Manager to execute the award for the
purchase of two (2) chlorine dioxide generators from D&F Services, LLC, in the amount
of $185,500.
