Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
Comprehensive Cancer Control Program in the amount of
$130,000.00 received from the Department of State Health Services
and authorizing the City Manager to execute c ontract accepting
same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for continued public health services; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2017 - 2018 budget; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $130,000 for the
Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, and the City Manager is authorized to enter
into a contract with the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls -
Wichita County Public Health District.
