ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR
GRANT REVENUE RECEIVED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE
HEALTH SERVICES FOR THE WOMEN, INFANT AND CHILDREN (WIC)
PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $67,000; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the WIC Division has generated extra income through client
participation; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2006 —2007 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund
$67,000.00 for the WIC program to be utilized for supplies, minor furniture,
maintenance of equipment, computer equipment, travel and education registration,
advertising, printing, promotion and facility improvements for the WIC addition.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
