ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REAPPOINTING DAN TOMPKINS AS SUBSTITUTE
JUDGE OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Dan Tompkins was reappointed as a substitute judge of the
Municipal Court by Ordinance No. 55-2005, for a two-year term expiring September 18,
2007; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Tompkins has agreed to serve another finro-year term as a
substitute Municipal Court Judge, to act in the place and stead of the Municipal Judge
during any period in which he is temporarily unable to act for any reason.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby reappointments Dan Tompkins as a
substitute judge of the Municipal Court for a term of two years, from September 18,
2007.
SECTION 2. It is officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
