ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, REMOViNG FROM PROBATION DAVILLA TRANSPORTATION, INC.
DBA ALL AMERICAN TRANSPORTATION AND PREZO, INC. DBA
PRESIDENTIAL TRANSPORTATION PURSUANT TO ORDINANCES #11-2007
AND #12-2007; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, On February 6, 2007, the City Council passed Ordinances #11-2007
and #12-2007, placing All-American and Presidential Transportation on six months
probation; and
WHEREAS, City staff has continued to monitor compliance with Chapter 110 of
the Code of Ordinances "Vehicles for Hire"; and
WHEREAS, City staff is recommending ending the probationary period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Davilla Transportation, Inc. DBA All American Transportation is
hereby removed from probation with current franchise to expire on May 16, 2010.
SECTION 2. Prezo, Inc. DBA Presidential Transportation is hereby removed
from probation with current franchise to expire on September 6, 2009.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
