Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract
for the Pedestrian Improvements along Kemp Blvd from Midwestern
Pkwy to Southwest Pkwy to JLT Contracting, LLC in the amount of
$481,737.80
WHEREAS, the City of Wi chita Falls has advertised for bids for the Pedestrian
Improvements along Kemp Blvd from Midwestern Pkwy to Southwest Pkwy; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is JLT Contracting,
LLC who made a unit price bid with an estimated to tal of $481,737.80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Pedestrian Improvements along Kemp Blvd from
Midwestern Pkwy to Southwest Pkwy is awarded to JLT Contracting, LLC, in an
estimated total amount of $481,737.80, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of June, 2017.
