Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award the purchase and
installation of a Dupron Low Flow Headworks Screen from Vision
Equipment as a sole source item in the amount of $80,100.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, (the “City”) operates and maintains
two wastewater treatment plants within the city ; and,
WHEREAS, the City has a desire to optimize the treatment process and improve
the overall quality of the treated effluent which is reused for other purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City has determined a Dupron Low Flow headworks screen is
the best suited equipment for use at the City’s Northside WWTP, and,
WHEREAS, Vision Equipment is the sole provider/vendor of said equipment .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS THAT:
The purchase and installation of a Dupron Low Flow headworks screen as a sole
source item from Vision Equipment is in the best interest of the City’s operation and
maintenance of the Northside WWTP, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
the purchase for the City with said vendor for the installation of such project.
