Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract
for the Hike and Bike Trail from Wichita Bluffs to Loop 11 to Scales
Concrete Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $1,436,123.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Hike and
Bike Trail from Wichita Bluffs to Loop 11; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Scales Construction
Co., who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,436,123.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Hike and Bike Trail from Wichita Bluffs to Loop 11 is
awarded to Scales Concrete Construction Co., Inc., in an estimated total amount of
$1,436,123.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16t" day of May, 2017.
