Item 1
The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas held a special joint meeting with the
4B Board at the Municipal Public Safety Training Center, 610 Flood Street, on Wednesday,
November 14, 2007. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the following members present:
Lanham Lyne - Mayor
Ray Gonzalez - Mayor Pro Tern

Darron Leiker - City Manager
Bill Sullivan - City Attorney
Lydia Ozuna - City Clerk

Mayor called the meeting to order.
Item 2
Assistant City Manager Matt Benoit gave a detailed presentation on a proposed Mobile
Data Terminals System. A copy of Mr. Benoit's presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Mr. Benoit informed that this was a work session only and no action would be required
today. This is an opportunity for the Council to ask questions.
Mr. Benoit introduced the consultant and vendors

Blake Jurecek, Information Systems Administrator
The 4B Board voted unanimously to fund the Wireless Mobile Terminal Systems Project
in the amount of$5.6 million.
City Council adjourned at 10:20 a.m.

Wheelchair or handicapped accessibility to the meeting is possible by using the
handicapped parking spaces in the parking lot in the front of the facility. Spanish
language interpreters, deaf interpreters, Braille copies or any other special needs
will be provided to any person requesting a special service with at least 24 hours
