Resolution No. _59-2017_
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Engineering
Services Agreement with Biggs and Mathews Inc ., for Multi-Purpose
Event Center Parking Facility Improvements, in the amount of
$85,000
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls’ proposed conference hotel is to be located
on the existing parking lot of the Multi-Purpose Events Center and will remove
approximately 158 parking spaces; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that replacement of these spaces is required to satisfy the
parking demands for the facility; and,
WHEREAS, it is determined that Biggs and Mathews, Inc., is capable of
completing the design work for the additional parking.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract f or the City with said
Engineer for the design of such project.
