ORDINANCE NO. � �C�C�U
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, DISSOLVING THE COMMISSION ON HIGHWAY
TRANSPORTATION NEEDS BY REPEALING ARTICLE III, DIVISION 4
OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Commission on Highway Transportation Needs was created to
address the needs, problems, and priorities of highway transportation issues in the city;
and
WHEREAS, past and present members of the Commission on Highway
Transportation Needs should be commended for the outstanding job they have done
over the years in serving our Community; and
WHEREAS, this Commission has met its purpose and accomplished its goals,
and is at a time and place where it should be sunset.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Commission on Highway Transportation Needs be and is
hereby dissolved.
SECTION 2. Article III, Division 4 of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances is
hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
