Ord 18-2008 3/4/2008 ORDINANCE NO. �,�,� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16-2008 TO INCLUDE A BRANCH EARLY VOTING POLLING LOCATION FOR THE MAY 10, 2008 ELECTION; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, the Wichita Falls Independent School District, and the City View Independent School District desire to better accommodate the needs of the voters. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 16-2008 be modified at Section 6 to include a Branch Early Voting Polling Location at City View High School, 1600 City View Drive with the same dates and hours as the Main Early Voting Polling Location, Memorial Auditorium, 1300 7 Street. SECTION 2 . Other related documents such as the Notice of Election and Order of Election be modified to reflect this change. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
