Resolution No. _47-2017_
Resolution authorizing award bid for purchase of three (3) 1-ton
service trucks with L-21 winches from the low bidder, Wichita Falls
Ford-Lincoln, Inc., in the amount of $112,694.25
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of three (3)
1-ton service trucks with L-21 winches, and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 9, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder was Wichita
Falls Ford Lincoln, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of three (3) 1-ton cab and chassis with service bodies
and L-21 winches is awarded to Wichita Falls Ford-Lincoln, Inc. in the amount of
$112,694.25 and City staff are authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase said items in accordance with bid specifications.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th Day of April, 2017.
