Resolution endorsing participation of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation and the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation in an effort to develop a collaborative economic
development strategy plan
WHEREAS, on March 21, 2017, the City Council accepted the City’s Strategic
Planning Workshop Report as its strategic goals for the city organization; and ,
WHEREAS, one of the seven major goals identified in that report was to
Accelerate Economic Growth in the community; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the first step to achieving this goal is
to develop a comprehensive economic development strategy plan; and,
W HEREAS, the City Council believes it is important that there is participation of
the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation and the Wichita Falls Economic
Development Corporation in that goal setting process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council hereby endorses the participation of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales
Tax Corporation and the Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation in an effort
to develop a collaborative economic development strategy plan.
