Resolution No. _43-2017_
Resolution authorizing award bid for purchase of one (1) diesel 1-ton
cab and chassis with a service bed from the low bidder, Wichita Falls
Ford-Lincoln, Inc., in the amount of $34,936.40.
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of one (1)
diesel 1-ton service truck with a service bed; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 9, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder was Wichita
Falls Ford Lincoln, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of one (1) diesel 1-ton cab and chassis with a service bed
is awarded to Wichita Falls Ford-Lincoln, Inc. in the amount of $34,936.40, and City staff
are authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase said items in accordance
with bid specifications.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th Day of April, 2017.
