ORDINANCE NO. / � ��
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 1212, 1214, AND 1216 37 STREET FROM
SINGLE FAMILY-2 TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL AND AMENDING THE
LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at their August 13, 2008 meeting and voted to recommend approval of
this request and the related amendment to the Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined that
the herein described zoning and Land Use Plan change is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Three lots described as Lots 28, 27, and 26, Block 19, Hillcrest
Addition, also known as 1212, 1214, and 1216, 37 Street, as shown on the attached
map incorporated in this ordinance as attachment "A", is hereby rezoned to General
Commercial.
SECTION 2 . The aforementioned lots described in Section 1 of this ordinance
are hereby designated as Commercial on the Land Use Plan.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
