ORDINANCE NO. -��
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REZONING 4009 FAITH ROAD, 4113 FAITH ROAD
AND ALL LOTS IN BETWEEN ON THE EAST SIDE OF FAITH ROAD,
AND THE ADJACENT RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM LIMITED COMMERCIAL
TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL, AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at their August 13, 2008 meeting and voted to recommend approval of
this request and the related amendment to the Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined that
the herein described zoning and Land Use Plan change is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Tracks 3, 4A, and 4, Block 1, Faith Village 1, and Lots 1-7, Block 2,
Faith Village 1, also known as 4009 Faith Road, 4013 Faith Road, 4017 Faith Road,
4101 Faith Road, 4103 Faith Road, 4105 Faith Road, 4109 Faith Road, and 4113 Faith
Road, as shown on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as attachment "A",
is hereby rezoned to General Commercial.
SECTION 2 . The aforementioned lots described in Section 1 of this ordinance
are hereby designated as Commercial on the Land Use Plan.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
