ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ����� �� „-,', «�
TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUND
FOR STATE HEALTH SERVICES GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF
$6,357 RECEIVED FROM TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER ACCEPT SAME; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has received
notice of the availability of State Health Services grant revenue from Tarrant County;
Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Public Health District desires to receive these funds to continue
providing health care services to eligible clients; and
WHEREAS, the award of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the FY 2008-2009 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated into the Special Revenue Fund $6,357
for the State Services grant and the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract
with Tarrant County, Texas for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District
accepting same.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
