Ordinance changing the time of the second regularly scheduled City
Council meeting of March 21, 2017, to 1:30 p.m.
WHEREAS, the second regularly scheduled City Council meeting in March 2017
falls on the same date as the Sheppard Air Force Base’s Change of Command
Ceremony; and,
WHEREAS, Sheppard Air Force Base is a vital component of the City’s economy,
and it is important for members of the City Council to attend this ceremony; and,
WHEREAS, it is efficient and proper to change the time of the second regularly
scheduled City Council meeting of March 21, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The time for the second regularly scheduled City Council meeting of March 21,
2017, is hereby changed to 1:30 p.m.
