RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVENTEEN (17)
FORD CROWN VICTORIA POLICE PATROL VEHICHLES FROM SAM
PACK'S FIVE STAR FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF $376,233.12. FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of seventeen (17 ) Ford Crown Victoria police patrol vehicles; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on October 22, 2008 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase seventeen (17) Ford Crown
Victoria Police Patrol Vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of
seventeen (17) Ford Crown Victoria Police Patrol Vehicles to Sam Pack's Five Star
Ford in the amount of $376,233.12.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
