RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A TYMCO
REGENERATIVE AIR STREET SWEEPER IN THE AMOUNT OF
$157,548.30; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, local governments are authorized by Chapter 791, et seq., The
Interlocal Cooperation Act of the Local Government Code, to agree with other local
governments to form purchasing cooperatives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS. The City Council desires to purchase a regenerative air street
sweeper for the Street Maintenance Department; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the HGA-C
Purchasing Cooperative,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization be granted for the purchase of a TYMCO regenerative
air street sweeper for street maintenance through the Houston-Galveston Area Council,
in the amount of $157,548.30.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
