RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CONTRACTS WITH SEVERAL COMMUNITY SERVICE
ORGANIZATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROMOTE THE
CONVENTION AND TOURISM INDUSTRY; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the 2008-09 Adopted Budget includes funds for several community
service organizations and organizations that promote the convention and tourism
industry; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into contracts with these agencies
to provide the terms and conditions for the use of these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contracts with
the following organizations in the amounts specified below:

SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law
