RESOLUTION NO. _96-2011_
Resolution Authorizing The Mayor To Execute A Tax Abatement
Agreement with Cryovac, Inc. for Property at 3800 Central Freeway
The City Council finds that the City has complied with the prerequisites for tax
abatement, as provided in Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code and the City’s
Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatement, as adopted on October 4, 2011.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
Tax Abatement
1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached
Agreement
for a period of 10 years with Cryovac, Inc., attached hereto and
incorporated herein, with such changes to form as are approved by the City Attorney.
2. City Staff shall provide copies of the proposed tax abatement agreement to
the other taxing entities in accordance with Texas Tax Code § 312.2041.
