RESOLUTION NO. _95-2011_
Resolution Awarding Bid For The City’s Annual Supply Of Water
Meters To Elster AMCO Water, Inc., In The Amount Of $186,048.00,
And Mueller Systems In The Amount Of $9,517.50
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
annual supply of water meters, and bids were received and publicly opened on October
10, 2011;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase water meters as needed
throughout the year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Elster AMCO Water, Inc. and Mueller
Systems are the lowest responsible bidders meeting specification for the items
described herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the City’s annual supply of water
meters to Elster AMCO Water, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications for 5/8” x 3/4”
meters and 1” meters, in the amount of approximately $186,048.00, and Mueller
Systems, the low bidder meeting specifications for 1” meters, in the amount of
approximately $9,517.50.
