RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR CONCRETE
CRUSHING TO JP ENVIRONMENTAL IN THE AMOUNT OF $87,500.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for concrete
crushing; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on September 9, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to recycle approximately 10,000 tons of
concrete rubble.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Award is hereby made to JP Environmental in the amount of
$87,500.00 for concrete crushing.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
