RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 FOR 2008
STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT(CWF08-100-04); FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Zack
Burkett Company with the total cost of $2,354,205.85; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 will increase the contract amount by
$42,126.09. The purpose of this increase is to balance out final quantities for final
payment.
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feels
that it is in the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 4 for the 2008 Street Rehabilitation Project
(CWF08-100-04) is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to make
amendments to this contract.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
