RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE JASPER
WATER TREATMENT PLANT PRESEDIMENTATION BASIN AND
PLANT MODIFICATIONS PROJECT CWF07-544-17; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Jasper Water
Treatment Plant Presedimentation Basin and Plant Modifications Project, CWF07-544-
17; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Archer Western
Contractors, who made a unit lump sum price bid with an estimated total of
$2,933,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit lump sum price bid of Archer Western Contractors, with an
estimated total of $2,933,000.00 is hereby accepted and approved, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the
construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
