RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT THE CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT
PLANT 1.5 MG ELEVATED STORAGE TANK PROJECT, CWF06-544-07
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO LANDMARK STRUCTURES I,
L.P.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THE RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Landmark
Structures I, L.P. with the estimated total cost of $1,752,000.00
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $1,837,430.00 of
which $1,796,271.40 has been previously paid to the Contractor, leaving an amount due
of $41,158.60
WHEREAS, both the City and Biggs & Mathews (Engineering Consultant)
Inspection Staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Cypress Water Treatment Plant 1.5 MG Elevated Storage Tank
Project, CWF06-544-07 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make
final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which
this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
