RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR FURNISHING
AND INSTALLING AN EMERGENCY GENERATOR AT MEMORIAL
AUDITORIUM TO MARVIN GROVES ELECTRIC IN THE AMOUNT OF
$75,657.00.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for furnishing
and installing an emergency generator at the Memorial Auditorium; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 24, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase an emergency generator for the
Memorial Auditorium.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for furnishing and
installing an emergency generator to Marvin Groves Electric in the amount of
$75,657.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
