RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FROM WELLS FARGO
BANK, N.A. FOR THE CITY'S BANK DEPOSITORY SERVICES FOR A
PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City contracts with a bank depository for various banking
services; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to solicit proposals for these banking services;
and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to qualified banking institutions in
order to solicit proposals for these services; and
WHEREAS, four proposals were received and three met the City's requirements;
and
WHEREAS, the proposal submitted by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. was determined
to be in the best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The proposal for bank depository services submitted by Wells
Fargo Bank, N.A., is hereby determined to be in the best interest of the City and is
accepted as the most responsible proposal.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
