RESOLUTION 4F THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE THE ACCEPTANCE OF OLD IOWA
PARK SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT, CWF07-560-08
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Bowles
Construction Company with the estimated total cost of $1,816,789.00; and
' WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $1,864,930.00 of
which $1,771,683.50 has been previously paid to the Contractor, leaving an amount due
of $93,246.50: and
WHEREAS, the City has inspected the work and found it to be acceptabie.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Final acceptance of the Old lowa Park Sanitary Sewer Interceptor
Project, CWF08-550-01, constructed by Bowles Construction Company is hereby
approved. The City Manager is authorized to execute the finai payment for the City of
Wichita Falis and to make a payment of $93,246.50 to Bowles Construction Company.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as requirea by (aw.
