RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO ACCEPT THE LIFT STATION 65 WET WELL
ADDITION AND FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CWF08-550-
08 AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO DCI CONTRACTING, INC.;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with DCI
Contracting, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $207,430.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $212,030.00 of
which $190,827.00 has been previously paid to the Contractor, leaving an amount due
of $21,203.00: and
WHEREAS, the City has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Final acceptance of the Lift Station 65 Wet Well Addition and
Force main Replacement Project CWF08-550-01, constructed by DCI Contracting, Inc.
is hereby approved. The City Manager is authorized to execute the final payment for
the City of Wichita Falls and to make a payment of $21,203.00 to DCI Contracting, Inc.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
