RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE VISION 20/20 PLAN; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council actively supports the economic development of the
community and the diversification of its economic base, downtown development, and
the overali improvement of the community.
WHEREAS, the City has facilitated the development of planning documents to
guide such actions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Vision 20/20 Plan is hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. Such adoption considers the direction and the principles of the
Plan, but shall not commit the City to individual actions or expenses unless further
approved by the City Council.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
