RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO A
WATER PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF BURKBURNETT;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the City of Burkburnett have agreed to
a Water Purchase Contract; and
WHEREAS, the City of Burkburnett requires an additional supply of water to be
incompliance with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules; and
WHEREAS, Section 1.9 will be amended to increase the maximum amount of
water to be furnished to the City of Burkburnett; and
WHEREAS, the Council examined the proposed Amendment to the Water
Purchase Contract between the City of Wichita Falls and the City of Burkburnett.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The Water Purchase Contract between the City of Wichita Falls and
the City of Burkburnett is hereby amended, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
