RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DESIGN TEAM OF BUNDY,
YOUNG, SIMS AND POTTER AND KRAMER ONE ARCHITECTS FOR
THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OVERSIGHT OF THE WICHITA
FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT FIRING RANGE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Fatls wishes to undertake construction of a new
25-yard firing range, as well renovation of the existing 100-yard range; and
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls released a Request for Proposals for
design services for this project; and
WHEREAS, After interviewing the firms offering proposals, the firm of Bundy,
Young, Sims and Potter is recommended for design and construction oversight
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The attached agreement with Bundy, Young, Sims and Potter for
design and construction oversight services of the Wichita Falls Police Department is
hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to sign.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
