RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWENTY (20) IN-
CAR VIDEO SYSTEMS , FROM MOBILE-VISION, INC., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $55,725.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Sections 252.022 (a) 7(A) of the Texas Local Government provides
exemption from competitive bidding of certain purchases, specifically for "items that are
available from only one source because of patents, copyrights, secret processes, or
natural monopolies, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase twenty (20) in-car video
systems for police patrol vehicles; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to purchase twenty (2) in-car video
systems from Mobile-Vision, Inc., in the amount of $55,725.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
