RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 60,000
GVW CAB & CHASSIS; AND TWO (2) 58,000 GVW CAB Y CHASSIS
FROM BRUCKNER'S TRUCK SALES, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$417,144.00. FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) 60,000 GVW cab & chassis and finro (2) 58,000 GVW cab &
chassis; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 18, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase finro (2) 60,000 GVW cab &
chassis, and two (2) 58,000 GVW cab & chassis for mounting front load and automated
curbside collection bodies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of two (2)
60,000 GVW cab & chassis, and finro (2) 58,000 cab & chassis to Bruckner's Truck
Sales, in the amount of $417,144.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
