RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY
OF 5 AND 6 STREETS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation has approached the City of
Wichita Falls concerning the transfer of the right-of-way of 5 and 6 Streets befinreen
Broad and Scott Street ; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed this request and finds that this would be
beneficial to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an Agreement with the
Texas Department of Transportation for the transfer of the right-of-way of 5 and 6tn
Streets.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
