RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE
MAPLEWOOD AVE/LAWRENCE RD/QUAIL CREEK DRAINAGE &
STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (CWF07-562-01); FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Earth
Builders, L.P. with the estimated total cost of $5,733,659.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will increase $41,123.75 to the original contract
amount of $5,733,659.00 for a new contract amount of $5,774,782.75; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feels
that it is in the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 1 for the Maplewood Ave/Lawrence Rd/Quail
Creek Drainage & Street Improvements Project (CWF07-562-01) is hereby approved
and the City Manager is authorized to make amendments to this contract.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
