RESOLUTION AWARDING FINAL PAYMENT TO AUI CONTRACTORS,
L.P. OF FORT WORTH FOR COMPLETION OF THE ENTRANCE
ROAD, TERMINAL PARKING, AND HANGER AREA IMPROVEMENTS
AT KICKAPOO DOWNTOWN AIRPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract with AUI
Contractors, L.P. of Fort Worth with the estimated total cost of $1,601,954.30; and
WHEREAS, change orders have been previously approved, totaling $96,741.18;
and
WHEREAS, actual final payment for the Entrance Road, Terminal Parking and
Hanger Area Improvements at Kickapoo Downtown Airport will total $85,314.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Entrance Road, Terminal Parking and Hanger Area Improvement
project at Kickapoo Downtown Airport is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
